Ingredients:

1 pkg. chocolate cake mix (not with pudding)

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

3 eggs

1 1/3 cups water

1 cup mayonnaise

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour (2) 9” round cake pans. Stir cake mix & cocoa in large mixing bowl; add remaining cake ingredients. Beat w/mixer to mix. Then beat for 2 minutes on medium. Pour into pans & bake for 30-35 minutes.

Cool for 5 minutes in pan. Cool on racks before frosting.

 

Frosting:

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese

2 Tbsps. milk

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 tsp. vanilla

5 cups sifted 10X sugar

 

Mix until creamy and frost cooled cake.
