Instructor - Diesel (10-Mo.) - Delaware Tehnical Community College - Owens Campus, Georgetown, DE. Salary determined through relevant education and experience. The incumbent in this position will teach the Diesel Technology courses in the areas of medium and heavy duty diesel vehicles. Areas include: diesel engines fundamentals and engine rebuilds, drivetrain fundamentals and repair, diesel fuel systems, suspension/steering wheels and tires, on-board vehicle networks and diagnostics, preventive maintenance inspections, air brakes fundamentals and repair. The incumbent is responsible for developing curricula, instructing courses consistent with syllabi, evaluating student learning and fostering student success. Minimum qualifications: Associate Degree in a related field and six (6) years of work experience in diesel service field OR Bachelor’s Degree and four (4) years of work experience in diesel service field.
