SATURDAY, JUNE 17 AT 1-6 PM Juneteenth Parade and Festival Downtown Salisbury, Salisbury, MD Eastern Shore Juneteenth celebrates the Black Experience in a way that the lower Shore has never seen. Through an annual Juneteenth celebration, Eastern Shore Juneteenth intends to bring the community together to celebrate black culture and achievement; to provide community education on black history and the ongoing struggle for civil rights; and to create a safe space for black creativity and expression. MONDAY, JUNE 19 UNTIL AUGUST 21 Monday Night Movies On The Beach The Beach at Dagsworthy St., Oceanside, Dewey Beach The movies in Dewey Beach, produced by The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce are back for the 2023 summer season. Movies start at approximately 8:30 PM on the beach at Dagsworthy Ave. in Dewey Beach. Movies are donation based, no admission fee. All movies G, PG, or PG-13. WED., JUNE 21 UNTIL AUGUST 23 AT 7 PM Wednesday Night Bonfires On The Beach The Beach at Dagsworthy St., Oceanside, Dewey Beach Glow sticks and marshmallows will be available for a $1 donation while supplies last. Roasting sticks will be available and should be returned after use. Bonfires are scheduled every Wednesday (weather permitting).
