Posted

Calling all buccaneers, scallywags and landlubbers! Prepare to hoist the Jolly Roger and set a course for the most highly anticipated maritime celebration of the year: the Rock Hall Pirates and Wenches Fantasy Weekend, returning Friday, Aug. 7 to Sunday, Aug. 9.

This family-friendly festival transforms the town into a bustling pirate haven. Guests can enjoy sea-shanty performances, treasure hunts, unique vendor marketplaces and waterfront activities.

Local businesses join in the fun with special events, perfectly balancing adventure with quaint, small-town charm. Participants can also win various “Rock Hall Loot,” through the official 2026 Treasure Chest Loot Log.

Voted “Best Tourist Attraction,” this year’s festivities are overflowing with revelry. Dust off your finest pirate hat and eye patch to compete in legendary costume contests, or warm up your vocal cords for a rousing sea shanty sing-a-long.

With a bounty of local vendors, exciting raffles and dedicated activities just for the little scallywags, there is endless treasure to be found along Main Street.

Rock Hall also features several waterfront dock bars and restaurants popular with both boaters and landlubbers. Local favorites specialize in fresh seafood, crab cakes and cocktails with panoramic views of the harbor and Swan Creek.

Mark your calendars for August 7 to 9. Event parking is entirely free and located in the Sharp Street field, just past the local elementary school. This lot also serves as a main shuttle bus stop.
