Double Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter - room temperature

3/4 cup light brown sugar

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 eggs

2 tsps . vanilla

1/4 cup hot coffee or water

 

Directions:

Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder & salt. Beat butter in large bowl until smooth. Add brown & granulated sugars & beat until light & fluffy. Beat in eggs, 

one at a time. Add vanilla. On low speed beat flour mixture into butter mixture.

Stir in hot coffee. Drop batter by heaping Tbsp. onto ungreased

baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes or until set at 375 degrees.
