Apple Praline Pie |
2 crusts top and bottom
Filling:6 cups sliced apples - peeled 3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. butter
Topping:1/4 cup margarine/butter 2 Tbsp. half & half 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:Prepare pie crusts. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour on sliced apples, toss till covered. Dot with butter. Top with crust and flute. Cut slits in top crust. Bake 55 minutes at 350 degrees till golden brown. Melt butter/margarine in small pot with brown sugar, half & half and pecans, bring to boil. Remove pie from oven when done, pour topping on top - Return to oven for 5 minutes till topping bubbles. Cool 1 hour.
