Anchor Drop #1 will take place from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at the Lightship and Monomoy pavilion adjacent to the ship. The ship’s “anchor” will be lowered down the ship’s mast after a 7:00 PM countdown, (midnight in the United Kingdom—the reason for our 250th celebrations). Participate in our two contests - “Drop the Anchor” – Win the chance to board the ship and help the Overfalls crew drop the anchor at 7:00 PM, and - “Have a Blast” - Win the chance to blast the ship’s authentic horn used to protect ships and sailors on foggy days and nights.
