SATURDAY, JULY 20 FROM 10 AM - 3 PM Open Cockpit Air Mobility Command Museum 1301 Heritage Rd., Dover Air Force Base, DE Every 3rd Saturday through October. Public has full access to many of the museum’s aircrafts if weather permits. Tour guides are stationed in the open aircraft to describe the history of the planes & their missions. They are often retired crew members of these planes, so their descriptions are from personal experience & bring the aircraft to life. Dimitra Yoga holds classes that are donation-based, with funds raised going to local community members in need. TUESDAY, JULY 23 FROM 10 - 10:30 AM Story Time at the Salisbury Zoo 755 S. Park Dr., Salisbury, MD Set for the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month through August. Free to attend! Program is geared towards kids ages 2-5. The format will include a read-aloud story and education with animal presentation & biofacts. Meet at the Education Center near the East Gate of the zoo. Program is held outside with weather permitting - no rain dates. TUESDAY, JULY 23 FROM 3 - 6:30 PM Ice Cream in a Bag S.T.E.M Milford Public Library 11 S.E. Front St., Milford, DE Join us to make ice cream in a bag. Put all the ingredients in a bag and shake it up until it forms ice cream, then eat your yummy creation! This activity is on a first come, first served basis. While supplies last. Ingredients: whole milk, heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla, ice salt. A dairy free version will be available that uses almond milk & honey. TUESDAY, JULY 23 FROM 6 - 7 PM Reptile Wonders: The Nature Center on the Go Freedom Park at Harrington Police Dept. 10 Mechanic St., Harrington, DE Reptile Wonders is a hands-on, interactive & interpretive program featuring LIVE exotic species of reptiles like water turtles, giant tortoises, monitor lizards, pythons, and more! Free for all ages. This show is outdoors. Please bring your own blanket/ chair and snacks to enjoy the show. In case of rain, the show will be moved to the library. Cannon St. We are celebrating the release of Mayor Cupcake, which was filmed right here in Bridgeville!
