PreIerreG 4uaOLfiFatLons: Possess a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to travel as the harvest deems necessary. 'utLes 5esSonsLELOLtLes: Safely operate agriculture equipment during harvest in a manner permitting to maximize recovery and highest quality. Lubricate, fuel and clean equipment in a safe manner. Assist mechanic in repairs to equipment. R eport any malfunctions to mechanic. Adhere to common safety practices and procedures. R esponsible to follow all Company and G overnment policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Custom H arvest Field Manager and/ or Agricultural Equipment Mechanic. AGRICULTURE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC Diagnose basic to complex mechanical issues. O perate, maintain, and repair custom harvest equipment in an efficient and cost-effective manner. 0LnLPuP 4uaOLfiFatLons: HS Diploma or GED, or demonstrated proficiency through previous job experience and/ or training in related performance responsibilities listed below. Ability to handle physical exertion. Must be willing to travel as harvest deems necessary. PreIerreG 4uaOLfiFatLons: Possess a valid driver’s license. Must have at minimum two (2 ) years general mechanical experience preferably with agriculture equipment or heavy equipment (or) Completion of appropriate vocational/ agriculture technical school training may be substituted for years of experience. 'utLes anG 5esSonsLELOLtLes: Perform routine maintenance on all equipment (lubrication, oil change, etc.). Monitor field conditions and communicate same to management. Diagnose and assist in the repair of minor mechanical problems such as belt slippage, flat tires, tracing electric failures/ shorts, rebuild hydraulic pumps, replacement of water pumps, thermostats, and other mechanic parts, etc. Diagnose and repair highly complex mechanical problems such as: total rebuild of combines or harvesters, installation/ programming of computer software, new wiring, etc. Identify potential problems (mechanical or field conditions) and react appropriately. Maintain and repair facilities used for maintenance and storage of harvesting equipment. W ork closely with Custom H arvest and Field Supervisors to permit timely harvest of high-quality product. Perform basic fabrications as needed. Supervise Field crew as needed. Adhere to common safety practices and procedures. R esponsible for following all Company policies and procedures, as well as any Local, State and/ or Federal regulations. Perform other related duties as assigned.
