Crab Casserole |
Ingredients:4 Tsps. butter 4 Tsps. flour 2 cups milk 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. celery seed dash cayenne pepper 1 egg yolk (beaten) 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 cup bread crumbs 1 lb. crab meat 2 tsp. parsley 2 tsp. onion bread crumbs
Directions:Melt butter, add flour, blend. Gradually add milk and seasonings. Cook over low heat stirring constantly until thickened. Gradually add egg yolk and cook 2 more minutes. Remove from heat, add Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, parsley & onion. Mix thoroughly. Add crab meat. Stir. Place in greased casserole. Sprinkle with crumbs and paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 6 portions.
