Chicken Casserole |
Ingredients:2 1/2 cups chicken, cooked & diced 2 Tbsp. margarine 1/2 cup celery, chopped 1/3 cup green pepper, chopped 1/3 cup onion, chopped 1 16 oz. can diced tomatoes 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 (12 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked & drained
Directions:Cook noodles according to directions and drain. In skillet, melt margarine, add celery, peppers and onions. Saute until soft, but not brown. Add tomatoes, chicken, & cooked noodles. Stir in soup and salt, then heat through. Add cheese stirring until melted. Spoon into greased casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle extra cheese on top and bake an extra few minutes to melt cheese. Serves 8.
