Pear Salad

1 29 oz. can pear halves (drain & save 1 cup of juice)

1 3 oz. box green Jello 

1 cup hot water

 

Mix jello, hot water and 1 cup pear juice together.

 

4 oz. cream cheese, whipped

1/2 cup chopped nuts

 

Mix cream cheese and nuts together.

 

Put one scoop of cream cheese mixture in each pear half. Put in 8x13 glass dish, cream cheese side down. Pour green Jello over top. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Put lettuce on a plate, add one square of pear and Jello on top. Can put Cool Whip on top of the pear if desired.
